New Client Experience at Tyneside Chiropractic


Around 80% of new clients at Tyneside Chiropractic are word-of-mouth referrals. We are truly honoured that many of our clients bring family, friends, neighbours and colleagues in to see us. It’s our promise to make sure everyone gets exceptional service and care.

Maybe this is because we hold to 3 promises:

* If at any point we feel there’s someone else better-suited for your goals, we will tell you.
* If, after a series of questions, we feel we can help you, we can move forward with an examination.

 

The Initial Interview


For a new client of Tyneside Chiropractic, or someone who has not visited us for some time, we begin at the beginning:

This first session is, primarily information-gathering to learn about you. Your full health history is discussed, exploring the past and present concerns. Certain types of care may be more appropriate depending on other on-going health conditions. We perform relevant and thorough tests to obtain vital information about the function of your spine and nervous system. Postural assessment and imaging studies are an amazing way to determine any areas of unusual or advanced wear and tear, or alignment challenges that your spine may demonstrate. Imaging isn’t always required, but we don’t guess either. You will be referred out if necessary.

If it’s appropriate and safe to do so, some care can be offered on this first visit. It can often be helpful in designing your care plan to see how you respond to certain methods and techniques.

New Client Paperwork

To save you some time, and allow us to be more thorough in our investigations, we ask that you complete the new client form we will send you and bring it with you.

 

The Report of Findings


On your second visit to us, we will correlate all the exam findings, including any imaging studies and postural assessments, with the particulars of your health history. No two people are ever the same, so our intention is to help you meet your care needs, health goals and life commitments.

We will provide a written report with a summary of our findings and recommendations, and explain clearly and visually the findings from our tests. We review what your problem is, what it will take to correct it, review stages of healing and give guidance on how long it may take and the costs involved. We recommend with realistic expectations in mind, and you decide what course of action works best for you.

Successful chiropractic care is truly a team effort. We expect our clients to be actively involved – it’s your body. So please ask questions and try our home recommendations to get the best value out of your experience.

At the conclusion of this second visit, we review responses to any care we may have been able to provide on your first consultation, and custom tailor any modifcations to your preferences and needs. People in our office are amazed at how gentle and effective adjustments feel. Nineteen years of experience and highly-specialised training have gone into your care plan, and we are happy to offer care to newborn babies all the way up to our older adults.

On your regular visits


Once we know what our focus of care is, subsequent visits are very straightforward. We take the time initially to get it right, and typical office visits may require just five to ten minutes.

Don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value! We value your time in a busy world, and focus on efficiently delivering our care with precision. With the groundwork laid, we can quickly size up the condition of your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way.

Like regular training, each visit builds on the ones before. Missed visits can interfere with the momentum, monitoring, fine-tuning and support necessary to achieve the change and healing you wish. We do everything possible to run to time and respect your busy life and other commitments.

 

Re-Assessment


This appointment is set for the future at an agreed interval to revisit the tests and show your progress objectively and is normally done after a phase of care.

 

Payment


We have many convenient payment options available and are happy to provide receipts for your care.
